Mandarin Orange Cream Popsicles
Beat the summer heat (or the winter blues!) with these creamy popsicles. They’re perfect for kids and much healthier than the store-bought kind, which are often loaded with sugar and other nasties. This recipe is all about nutrition with vitamin C-packed oranges and protein-rich Greek yogurt. This recipe works beautifully with our White Mandarin Balsamic!
Ingredients
- 7 Peeled Mandarins
- 16 Ounces of Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- Popsicle Mold and Popsicle Sticks
- White Mandarin Balsamic
- Granola Pieces (optional)
Instructions
Begin by peeling your mandarins, then puree in a blender or food processor. Next, add a spoonful of pureed mandarins into each popsicle mold and then add a spoonful of vanilla yogurt. Splash in some White Mandarin Balsamic. Continue layering the two until there is a 1/2″ gap at the top of the mold. Fill this gap with granola, pressing it down into the yogurt. Then add your popsicle stick and freeze for 4 hours or until solid. Run the mold under hot water to unmold the popsicles to serve.
You can keep your layers fairly separate, but you could always mix the pureed mandarin oranges and yogurt for a more well blended popsicle.
